Ark League

We oversaw VI design for "Ark League", the X-sports world competition.

"Ark League" is the newly established X-sports world competition, created via the addition of a skateboarding world competition to the existing BMX Flatland World Circuit（BFWC）Final "Flat Ark", which has been running since 2013.

The commission called for a simple, modern symbol with high visibility, which would be appropriate for an X-sports event.

We therefore took inspiration from the ideas of body and senses, energy and enthusiasm, movement and competition etc., relating this to the tournament's theme of "Noah's Ark" to produce a refined expression.

The elements of modernity, simplicity, and visibility are expressed in a single theme, creating a VI design appropriate for the competition.

X-スポーツのワールドコンペティションである「Ark League」の為のVIデザインを行った。

2013年から開催されていたBMX Flatland World Circuit（BFWC）Final「Flat Ark」に、スケートボードのワールドコンペティションが追加され、生まれ変わったX-スポーツのワールドコンペティションが「Ark League」である。

X-スポーツの祭典に相応しい、シンプルで視認性の良い、現代的なシンボルが求められた。

そこで、五体や五感、熱気や活気、動きや勝敗といった言葉から受けるインスピレーションを、コンペティションのテーマであるノアの方舟のイメージと関連付けつつ、洗練された方法によって表現した。

現代性、シンプルさ、視認性、様々な要素が一つのテーマの中で表現された、本コンペティションに相応しいVIデザインが出来上がった。
